On top of that, the artwork is splendid in this game and the purification scenes are very well made with nice anime artwork. For four dollars I didn’t have much expectations for the game, but after spending a couple of hours with the game I have to say that it’s quite a fun top down shooter with difficulty added to it. Overall I have to say that Dragonia surprised me. The cursor acceleration is responsive, I haven’t felt any lag behind it while trying to aim for targets. With the mouse you aim for targets, shooting is done by left clicking and the right click button is mapped for using powerups. The controls in this game are quite standard, you fly around with the W,A,S,D buttons. The translation is a bit funny in this game, with the most notable “pa choo!” phrase that you’ll be hearing a lot in. As for the art itself, the art is nicely done and well drawn. The purification scenes are decently made, not a lot of interactivity is going on in them but that’s pretty common with visual novel games, so I’ll give the game a pass on that regard.

Also speaking of the patch, it’s actually quite easy to install the 18+ patch, all you have to do is download one single file and place it into the texture folder to uncensor the game. During the scenes, the game is being presented in a visual novel way where you have to click to read the dialogues. Normally the scenes are actually censored by default, but for this review I will include the uncensored version of the game. And by purification I mean using the powers of lust to appease the dragons and to banish them from the world. When you defeat a boss dragon, the game will transition to an erotic scene where the purification begins. You do also get points for defeating the dragons, which you can use towards upgrades such as new skills, increased health capacity and more. The first few levels have an reasonable set goal with a minimal number of dragons you have to shoot, but once you progress further the difficulty spikes up quite a bit. The levels have a fair difficulty to them, ranging from easy and hard. As help, you will get supplied by various amount of items scattered across the level, from health kits to projectiles. To be able to survive, you have to shoot your way forward and defeat the desired amount of dragons. Each level has a set goal of defeating a number of dragons to spawn the dragon boss. The game is similar to games like Super Stardust where you fly and shoot enemies, in this case dragons. Gameplayĭragonia is a top down shooter developed by SakuraGame. The witch, which is the oracle of Dragonia assigns a task to a girl named Feeney to purify all the dragons, by using the powers of lust. That’s when the dragons go rampant to obtain the sacred powers of the Dragon’s Tree and try to destroy Dragonia. A Dragon’s Tree appear in the world of Dragonia, which is rumored to contain high sources of power. The general plot of Dragonia revolves around dragons and humans, when someday the dragons get conflicted with humans. I didn’t have high expectations for it but when I got down to playing the game, I was pleasantly surprised… With that being said, I present to you my review of Dragonia! Story Which is how I discovered this game called Dragonia for just €1,19 on Steam. I guess what you basically say is sex sells. I’ll be honest, when I see a game that has the tag “nudity”, it immedietaly catches my interest. Warning, this review has been rated for mature audiences only.
